"Ton-up is our OWN movement. Not an exact replica of the Ace Cafe' Rockers, or The Wild One or anything else. It may draw inspiration from those sources but it is not defined by any of them. We have here a UNIQUE moment in time and attitude that brings about an opportunity to CHOOSE the bike/modification, etc. That choice, perhaps, the Rockers didn't have. To choose to keep a vintage bike on the road (in the face of all the NEW superbikes) and modify it to be more reliable, faster or most importantly - an individual statement, is to me what this UNIQUE MOVEMENT of TON-UP is all about.
